Cattle Loose after Oroville Big-Rig Collision near Wickman Road

OROVILLE, CA (October 7, 2021) – Early Saturday morning, two people were injured in a semi-truck crash on Highway 162.

According to reports, the unidentified driver of a semi-truck swerved to avoid hitting a deer around 1:45 a.m. Authorities responded to the scene shortly after.

Upon Arrival, officers immediately located the overturned truck which was hauling multiple trapped steer. Additionally, several dozen cattle were left running loose near the wreckage.

Moreover, medical personnel transported the driver and a passenger to a hospital for minor injuries. Although, their identities have not yet been released.

At this time, the investigation into the semi-truck crash on Highway 162 is still currently underway.
