Two Hurt in Auto Accident on Highway 99
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 24, 2022) – At least two people sustained injuries in a rollover crash on California Avenue, Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m., along northbound Highway 99 just south of California Avenue.
According to the authorities, a vehicle lost control for unknown reasons and rolled over. Consequently, it ejected two occupants from the vehicle.
Responding officers located the victims with major injuries and transported them to Kern Medical for treatment. At this time, authorities withheld the identities of the victims until their loved ones are notified.
Meanwhile, an active investigation is underway. Bakersfield officials encourage anyone with information to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
