Rollover Crash on 4th Street Left 2 Casualties

SANTA ROSA, CA (September 22, 2021) – Two people are recovering from a rollover crash on 4th Street last Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to the incident around 6:52 a.m. at the intersection of Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue.

According to multiple witnesses, at least two vehicles were involved in the collision and one of them flipped over three times.

Upon arrival, Santa Rosa fire department personnel discovered one car upright with one occupant inside.

Meanwhile, the other vehicle stayed on its roof containing two people inside.

Eventually, firefighters safely extracted the two occupants inside the rolled over vehicle and transported them to a hospital with minor and moderate injuries.

Later on, investigators determined that the driver of the upright car did not stop at the red light while traveling south on Brookwood Avenue.

As a result, it struck a westbound vehicle on Fourth Street causing it to rollover.

At this time, authorities are investigating the incident.

Officials are encouraging anyone with information about the rollover crash to contact Santa Rosa Police Department.
