Two Victims Hurt in Pedestrian Collision near Shirley Avenue

TARZANA, CA (March 17, 2022) – Monday afternoon, at least two people sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Ventura Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m., in the vicinity of 19500 West Ventura Boulevard near Shirley Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a collision occurred between two vehicles, and involved one pedestrian. However, the events leading up remain unclear.

Responding officers arrived and rescued a pedestrian who had become pinned beneath one of the vehicles. Consequently, paramedics then rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

At this time, no further information has been provided about the pedestrian accident on Ventura Boulevard. However, the authorities are still currently conducting further investigation.
