Multi-vehicle Collision on Harbor Drive Hospitalized Two

BARRIO LOGAN, CA (September 2, 2021) – A multi-vehicle collision on Harbor Drive left 2 people hurt, one of which received serious injuries.

The incident occurred around 3:15 P.M. at the intersection of Cesar E. Chavez Parkway and Harbor Drive.

Afterwards, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded at the scene and discovered at least four vehicles in the wreckage.

In addition, Battalion Chief Mike Howell stated that they have to cut out one of the patients in order to extract them from the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the second patient sustained minor injuries.

Eventually, paramedics transported the two patients to a local trauma center for treatment and recovery.

The San Diego Police Department continues to investigate the Harbor Drive multi-vehicle collision.
