At Least 2 Hospitalized after Solo Car Wreck on Sunset Boulevard

HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 30, 2021) – A solo car crash on Sunset Boulevard injured two people on Saturday morning.

The collision happened at 2:21 a.m. on Sunset Boulevard near Holloway Drive.

According to reports, a red/orange Dodge Charger was heading east when the driver lost control. Following the high-speed crash, it came to rest against a building.

Responders transported the driver and a passenger to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.

Meanwhile, authorities suspected that DUI was a factor in the solo car wreck. However, no confirmation has been provided.

CHP officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
