One Critically Injured after Head-On Collision on Carrillo Street

SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 19, 2021) –  A head-on collision on Carrillo Street injured two people, one in critical condition Sunday evening.

The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. on November 14, on Carrillo Street just east of Miramonte Drive.

According to the CHP, a collision happened between two vehicles for still unknown reasons.

As a result of the crash, the drivers and sole occupants of both vehicles sustained injuries.

Paramedics took the victims, one of them in critical condition, to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.

At this time, officials have not released updates on their current condition.

Additionally, authorities are yet to release any additional information. However, the accident remains under investigation.
