Multiple Vehicles Involved in Fiery Collision on 605 Freeway, 2 Hospitalized

WHITTIER, CA (January 10, 2022) At least two people were hospitalized Monday morning after a fiery collision on 605 Freeway.

The incident happened around 5:20 a.m. on the 605 Freeway, near Washington Boulevard.

According to reports, a southbound car collided with the center divider for unknown reasons. The car then ended up in the northbound lanes.

In addition, officials believed that a motorcycle, and two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.

Meanwhile, responding medics took two people to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Authorities later closed most of the lanes for two hours to conduct an investigation. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.
