Multi-Vehicle Accident on Club Drive Left At Least Four Injured

INDIAN WELLS, CA (August 10, 2022) – Friday afternoon, two victims were hospitalized following a suspected DUI crash on Highway 111.

The multi-car accident happened around 1:45 p.m., near Club Drive on July 29th. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Reports indicate that four vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash, although the events that led up to the collision remain unknown.

Eventually, paramedics transported two people with minor to moderate injuries to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, two others refused medical attention.

At this time, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public. A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Furthermore, officials suspected the driver of the white Ford utility vehicle of driving under the influence. At this moment, an active investigation is ongoing. California Highway Patrol officials will release updates as they become available.
