Four Students Involved in a DUI Collision along Centerville Road, Two Injured

FERNDALE, CA (June 23, 2022) – Friday morning, 4 students were involved in a DUI crash on Centerville road resulting in two injuries.

Sgt. Gabe Parker stated that they received a report on June 17th at 2:20 a.m. of a vehicle that overturned on the roadway.

As a result, one person was unconscious, and one suffering from moderate injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported both victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police added that the four occupants of the vehicle were all 16 to 17 years old. Meanwhile, alcohol was said to be the factor of the crash.

Furthermore, a portion of the roadway was temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation into the crash along Centerville Road is currently underway.

Young drivers should not be allowed to have unrestricted driving privileges until they are at least of the minimum driving age and have gained sufficient experience. It is also helpful to supervise your kids’ behind-the-wheel driving experience to develop defensive driving habits.
