Driver, Passenger Injured after Rollover Crash on Marlborough Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 14, 2022) – Monday morning, two people sustained injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Marlborough Avenue.
The incident happened on October 31st, at around 1:00 a.m., along the 3300 block of Marlborough Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver reportedly veered off and crashed into three parked cars. Some of the parked vehicles were damaged as the truck rolled over and came to rest on its side.
Responding medics found the driver and passenger with minor injuries after they crawled out of the truck, and were treated at the scene.
San Diego Police eventually ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the accident after the driver told officers that he fell asleep behind the wheel.
