Two-Vehicle Crash on East Montecito Street Hospitalized Two People

SANTA BARBARA, CA (April 14, 2022) – On Saturday, two people sustained injuries after a rollover crash on Montecito Street, police said.

The incident took place on the 1000 block of East Montecito Street around 6:20 p.m. on April 2nd.

Furthermore, according to reports, a westbound sedan collided with a parked vehicle causing the sedan to flip over.

Moreover, emergency crews arrived and extracted a man and a woman out from the wreck.

Afterward, paramedics rushed both injured victims to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with minor injuries.

Officials have yet to release the identity of either of the victims.

The cause of the accident and the circumstances surrounding it remain unclear at this time. However, an active investigation is ongoing.
