Motorcycle Collision near Point Reyes Lighthouse Left 2 Injured

MARIN COUNTY, CA (May 5, 2022) – Officials said two riders sustained injuries following a motorcycle crash near Point Reyes Lighthouse.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. when CHP received a report of a collision involving two motorcycles.

At this time, the events and factors leading up to the motorcycle accident remain unknown. However, responding medics located two riders in critical condition upon arrival.

As a result, helicopter crews arrived and flew the patients to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Additionally, the surrounding area was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since reopened.

Officers did not release the names of the victims involved. However, Marin County Officials continue to investigate the motorcycle crash near Point Reyes Lighthouse.
