Highway Closed after Two-Vehicle Accident near 228th Avenue

KING COUNTY, WA (November 12, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a two-car crash on State Route 202 sent two victims to the hospital.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., near Louisa May Alcott Elementary School. First responders arrived to the scene after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area. However, the events leading up to the crash still remain unknown.

Medics on scene transported two people to local hospitals for further treatment. One of the victims involved was said to be suffering from serious but non life-threatening injuries.

In addition, both directions of State Route 202 were closed following the crash. Although, the road has since reopened.

Troopers say the driver who caused the collision is currently being investigated for vehicular assault.

At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. Once available, further details will be provided.
