Traffic Accident near Greenway Road Left Two Injured
PHOENIX, AZ (October 25, 2022) – Tuesday evening, a two-car crash near 43rd Avenue left at least two people hospitalized, police said.
According to initial reports, the incident happened just after 7:00 p.m., involving two vehicles. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
Furthermore, officers arrived at the scene near 43rd Avenue and extricated one person trapped in the wreckage.
Meanwhile, emergency crews stated that they transported at least two people from the wreck to local hospitals.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined. Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
No other information has been released at this time as further investigations about the crash near 43rd Avenue are underway.
At this time, the total number of injuries from the crash remain unclear, however; Phoenix Officials will release more information as it becomes available to the public.
