Two-Vehicle Collision on Grizzly Flat Road Left at Least Two Hospitalized

EL DORADO, CA (December 7, 2022) – Two individuals sustained injuries in a propane truck collision on Grizzly Flat Road, last Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m., in El Dorado County, per initial reports.

At this time, the cause of the collision remains unclear. In addition, police say a pickup-truck and a propane truck were involved.

Medical personnel arrived and transported at least two victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment of minor injuries.

Fire officials said crews burned off propane inside the truck to clear the scene. No further details regarding the Grizzly Flat Road truck crash have been released to the public; however, El Dorado County officials will provide more information once available.

The California Highway Patrol Placerville office is currently handling the investigation.
