Vehicle Collision near State Route 54 Left Two Injured

CHULA VISTA, CA (April 25, 2022) – Authorities reopened Interstate 5 after a traffic accident that left two people injured Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Interstate 5, just before State Route 54.

Police said at least three vehicles were involved in the crash. Meanwhile, paramedics transported two people to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

Furthermore, around 6:42 a.m., officials reopened all the lanes of the freeway.

At this time, Chula Vista Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
