2 Injured in Auto Accident near 210 Freeway Overpass

FONTANA, CA (March 29, 2022) – Late Saturday morning, two drivers were hospitalized after a three-vehicle rollover crash on Sierra Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene around 11:39 a.m., on the Sierra Avenue/Route 210 Freeway overpass. However, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear.

Investigators later described the involved vehicles as a 1997 Cadillac Catera, a 2016 Toyota Rav4 and a 2000 Lexus RX.

Authorities immediately located one overturned vehicle with its driver trapped inside. Medics responded and assessed all the involved people at the scene.

Medics rushed two of the three involved drivers to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Although, officers have not yet released their identities.

Following preliminary investigations, crews believed that neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the accident. At this time, an active investigation is still underway. Once available, further details will be provided.
