Two Drivers Injured in Head-On Collision near 99th Avenue

PEORIA, AZ (June 13, 2022) – Monday, at least two people sustained injuries following a head-on accident on Northern Avenue.

Officials responded to the scene between 99th and 103rd Avenue after receiving reports of two vehicles that collided head-on.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision remain unknown. However, reports indicate that first responders located two driver with various injuries.

Paramedics arrived and took both drivers to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The first driver suffered serious life-threatening injuries, while the second driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Moreover, police closed the area between 99th and 103rd avenues for cleaning and preliminary duties.

At this time, authorities released no further information about the drivers and their identities. However, an active investigation is underway.
