2 Hospitalized after Car Catches Fire in Collision near Mason Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 4, 2021) – Monday afternoon, two victims were hospitalized after a fiery crash on Saticoy Street.

The accident happened in the 20500 block of West Saticoy Street, near Mason Avenue. Dispatchers responded to the scene around 12:20 p.m., on November 1.

For reasons unknown, one vehicle crashed into multiple parked vehicles on the road. Amidst the chaos, once vehicle burst into flames. Responding officers transported two victims with severe burn injuries to a local hospital for treatment.

The surrounding area was closed during cleanup duties. Although, the road has since reopened.

Los Angeles police are still reviewing the crash for more details. However, more details will be provided once made available.
