Two Victims Injured in Auto Collision on Gage Avenue
COMMERCE, CA (March 22, 2022) – Saturday morning, two victims were hospitalized after a driver slammed into a home on Lanto Street.
Video footage from the scene shows a car drive through a fence and into a home at the intersection of Lanto Street and Gage Avenue.
Firefighters had to extricate one person who was trapped inside the car, while the other victim was reportedly inside the house. Paramedics transported the two victims to a local hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.
Crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
Following investigations, it was unknown at the time if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. Further circumstances leading up to the incident are still currently under investigation.
