Several Injured in Car Collision in Angeles National Forest

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 5, 2022) – Tuesday night, two victims were hospitalized after an auto accident on Placerita Canyon Road.

The crash happened on the 19000 block of Placerita Canyon Road around 5:50 p.m., on August 2nd. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, the driver of a Ford F-150 was heading east on Placentia Canyon Road and collided head-on with a Kia Sportage.

An American Medical Response unit then transported the driver and passenger of the Kia to a nearby hospital. In addition, investigators say one of the injured victims was an older woman.

Meanwhile, authorities closed both lanes after the accident on Placerita Canyon Road. No further details regarding the collision have been released to the public; however, more information will be provided once made available.
