Two Teenagers Hospitalized after Collision near 47th Avenue

GLENDALE, AZ (December 30, 2021) – Saturday, two young girls sustained injuries in a car crash on 43rd Avenue.

According to authorities, the crash occurred when a driver failed to stop at a traffic light. As a result, the car collided with another vehicle attempting to make a left turn on 47th Avenue.

Paramedics arrived and transported two adolescent females, ages 10 and 13, to a local hospital for treatment. According to Glendale police, the children received facial lacerations as a result of the incident.

The initial vehicle’s driver remained at the site and spoke with officials. According to Glendale police, impairment is not thought to be a factor.

At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway.
