Victim Airlifted after Fatal Rollover Crash near Mescal Road

TUCSON, AZ (October 12, 2021) – Thursday morning on October 7, two people were killed in a truck collision on Interstate 10.

The crash took place around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 10, as per report. Per reports, officers attempted to pull over a truck driver with a fake license plate when a pursuit began.

Shortly after, the driver exited the highway on Mescal Road and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle rolled into the emergency lane next to the ramp.

Two of the three people inside the truck were declared deceased at the scene, according to DPS authorities. Moreover, the third individual was flown to a Tucson hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
