Auto Collision near Escondido Canyon Road Results in Multiple Injuries

AGUA DULCE, CA (September 7, 2021) – Friday afternoon, two people were airlifted after a multi-vehicle crash on 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce.

The accident happened near Escondido Canyon Road around 3:49 p.m., on September 3. Dispatchers arrived to the scene shortly after.

According to the CHP, the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately clear. However, four vehicles were said to be involved.

In addition, medics discovered two unidentified victims who had suffered serious injuries in the crash. They were flown to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Although, their current condition has not been updated.

All northbound lanes of the 14 Freeway were closed while authorities investigated and cleared the scene.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is underway.
