SR-18 Traffic Crash Left Two People Hospitalized

LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (October 11, 2021) A crash on SR-18 involving an RV left two people injured Monday morning in Lucerne Valley.

The incident happened just before 9:24 A.M. near the Mitsubishi Cement Plant on State Route 18.

According to the CHP, two occupants sustained significant injuries after a brown RV overturned into a ravine and landed on its wheels.

Afterwards, the San Bernardino County Firefighters arrived at the scene and requested two helicopters to transport the two patients.

At this time, the identity of the victims and the reason behind the crash remains unclear.

Lucerne Valley Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the SR-18 crash.
