Two-Vehicle Crash on Gurdwara Avenue Kills 16-Year-Old Boy

SAN JOSE, CA (October 1, 2021) – A 16-year-old lost his life in a two-vehicle crash on Gurdwara Avenue last Tuesday night.

The incident took place around after 10:00 p.m. on September 28, along Gurdwara Avenue and Carrera Court.

According to the CHP, two vehicles collided near the intersection for undetermined reasons.

The impact sent one of the vehicles careening into a tree and it flipped, coming to a rest on the northbound side of Gurdwara Avenue.

Responding officers pronounce the 16-year-old, a passenger in the vehicle, dead at the scene.

On the other hand, medics rushed the driver and two other passengers to the hospital life threatening injuries. At this time, officials have not released their identity or current conditions.

Investigators said it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
