Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision near Manhasset Road in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, CA (October 29, 2021) A hit-and-run on Ottawa Road claimed the life of a 14-year-old boy Tuesday night.

The fatal incident occurred around 8:11 p.m., when a driver struck the boy. Officers arrived to the scene between Navajo and Manhasset Road shortly after.

In addition, witnesses claimed that an eastbound white or silver two-door coupe on Ottawa Road struck the boy while traveling over 60 mph.

At this time, the authorities are now searching for the suspected Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35 driver.
