Teenage Girl Arrested after Pursuit Collision near Mission Road
STOCKTON, CA (August 9, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, a 13-year-old girl was arrested after a pursuit crash on Alpine Avenue. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m., near Mission Road. Investigators say they spotted a vehicle driving without its headlights on. The driver then failed to pull over and the pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle drove through multiple stop signs before eventually slamming into a wall and breaking a fire hydrant. Following preliminary duties, police arrested the 13-year-old driver for felony evading. Meanwhile, the 12-year-old passenger was returned to their parents.
