Male Pedestrian Hospitalized after Being Struck near McDowell

PHOENIX, AZ (October 10, 2022) – Saturday morning, one man was seriously injured after a crash near 3rd Street.

The incident happened in the early hours of September 24th near the intersection of 3rd Street and McDowell Road.

According to reports, a man was walking in the area when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The impact of the collision left the man with serious injuries. The involved vehicle then fled the scene after the crash without rendering aid to the victim.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after. Medics then transported the injured victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
