33-Year-Old Man Died in Fatal Collision on International Boulevard

OAKLAND, CA (August 26, 2021) – A 33-year-old man lost his life early Sunday after a fatal crash on International Boulevard in Oakland.

The collision occurred around 3:15 a.m. on August 22 on International Boulevard near Seminary Avenue.

According to the CHP, the man was driving an eastbound Toyota Prius on International Boulevard when he collided with a southbound Infiniti FX35 on Seminary Avenue.

Following the collision, the Toyota collided with a building before coming to a stop.

Tragically, the Toyota driver, whose identity has not been revealed, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Infiniti, a 20-year-old Oakland woman, was rushed to the hospital and is in stable condition.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is currently underway.
