Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 132 near Gates Road Left One Fatality

STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (January 14, 2021)  On Tuesday, at least one person died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 132.

Authorities said that the crash occurred at 6:11 p.m. on Highway 132 and Gates Road.

Furthermore according to reports, the incident included a large truck and a Honda Civic, which came to rest on the northeast corner of the road.

Eventually, firefighters and officers rescued one person trapped in one of the vehicles.

Meanwhile, authorities, at this time, withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification of his family members.

In addition, officials closed one westbound lane for cleanup and investigation.

Stanislaus County officials are investigating the circumstance surrounding the two-vehicle crash.
