Female Driver Dies after Two-Vehicle Head-On Crash on Alvin Avenue

SANTA MARIA, CA (February 11, 2022) – Police said a female driver lost her life on Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash on Beth Court.

The collision occurred around 7:00 p.m. in the area of Beth Court and Alvin Avenue.

Furthermore, according to authorities, a car driver made an unsafe turning movement while driving the wrong way, colliding head-on with a truck.

Consequently, first responders airlifted the female driver of the car to a nearby hospital with a serious head injury.

Tragically, the woman, only identified as a Santa Maria resident, died in the hospital as a result of her injuries.

The truck’s driver, on the other hand, did not sustain any injuries.
