Vehicle Accident on Highway 12 Hospitalized Six Victims, Kills 1

STOCKTON, CA (May 23, 2022) – One person died and at least six people sustained injuries in a two-car collision on Highway 12.

The tragic crash happened on May 13th, along Highway 12, west of Interstate 5 and northwest of Stockton.

According to reports, the California Highway Patrol responded to a two-car collision in the area. However, it is unconfirmed what caused the collision.

Officers responded at the scene and located nine people involved, but medics only took six people to the local hospitals.

At this time, officials have not released their identities or their current conditions.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened.

However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
