Fatality Reported after Deadly Crash on Blue Diamond Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 8, 2022) – Sunday, at least one victim was pronounced dead after a suspected pedestrian accident on Arroyo Road.
The incident occurred along Arroyo Road, just north of Blue Diamond Road on July 24th. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple calls in the area.
Eventually, responding officers pronounced one unidentified individual dead at the scene. Initial reports suggest that a pedestrian was hit at the crossing, however the events leading up remain unknown.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still ongoing. Moreover, officials have not released the name and age of the deceased victim pending notification of next of kin.
In addition, emergency crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
Las Vegas authorities are now investigating the suspected pedestrian accident on Arroyo Road and will release further updates once available.
