Vehicle Accident on Cooper Road Left One Fatality
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (June 6, 2022) - On Wednesday, a semi-truck collision at Highway 193 killed one unidentified person.
The crash happened at 1:00 a.m. along Highway 193 southbound, north of Cooper Road.
As per the reports, a semi-truck collided head-on with a Ford Mustang under unknown circumstances.
Eventually, when first responders arrived, they discovered the Ford engulfed in flames while pinned under the semi-truck.
Furthermore, authorities stated one person tragically died from the crash, although it is unknown whether the victim died at the scene or at the hospital.
Officials are looking into whether impairment was a possible cause of the accident. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
