Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Crash on Stoneman Avenue near Black Diamond High School

PITTSBURG, CA (March 9, 2023) – Tuesday night, a pedestrian crash near the intersection of Stoneman Avenue claimed the life of one person. The incident occurred on March 7th, outside of Black Diamond High School, near Meadowbrook Circle and Loveridge Road. According to reports, the pedestrian was walking near the high school when they were struck by a vehicle. When first responders arrived they found the victim unconscious in the road. Medics later pronounced him dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries. Following the collision, crews closed down the areas of the road surrounding the collision. They then performed cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, officials have not released any more details regarding the pedestrian crash on Stoneman Avenue. However, further investigations are underway.
