Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Avenue I

LANCASTER, CA (July 1, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash near Seventh Street East left one man killed, Sunday evening.

The accident happened on June 26th at 9:40 p.m. on Avenue I near Seventh Street East, police said.

Furthermore, authorities said a man was fatally struck by a Honda or Nissan going eastbound, crossing Avenue I.

Consequently, the vehicle fled the scene after the collision with the man.

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the man to Antelope Valley Medical Center for the treatment of critical injuries.

Unfortunately, the unidentified man was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital.
