Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Symeron Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (February 10, 2022) – A pedestrian crash on Rancherias Road left one person killed Tuesday evening.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 6:14 p.m., just north of Symeron Road. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

Investigators later determined that a northbound silver Honda Accord struck a pedestrian that was walking eastbound on Rancherias Road. Due to the impact of the collision, the pedestrian was found suffering from life-threatening injuries.

First responders arrived and transported the man to St. Mary’s Hospital by ambulance. However, the pedestrian later succumbed to their injuries due to the extent of their condition.

Meanwhile, the involved Honda Accord driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unavailable.
