Pedestrian Crash on Olive Drive Involving Multiple Vehicles, 1 Fatality

BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 19, 2022) – Friday night, a pedestrian crash on Olive Drive claimed the life of a man.

The crash happened on September 16th, at around 11:03 p.m. in the 11600 block, involving a pedestrian and multiple vehicles.

According to police, a pedestrian was walking in the area near Olive Drive when a vehicle struck him. Due to the impact of the collision, the victim sustained serious injuries.

Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. At this time, his identity has not yet released, pending notification of his next of kin.
