Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident on Watt Avenue

SACRAMENTO, CA (August 18, 2022) – Monday night, police responded to a pedestrian crash on Marconi Avenue that claimed the life of one person.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m., in the 4100 block of Marconi Avenue just east of Watt Avenue on August 15th,.

According to police, a vehicle struck the pedestrian around the area of Arden-Arcade. The impact of the collision left the pedestrian with fatal wounds. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

At this time, police have not released the identity of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin. Police believed that the driver was not under the influence.
