I-805 Pedestrian Accident Leaves One Dead
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 30, 2021) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian was killed in a deadly crash on Interstate 805 in San Diego.
The fatal incident happened around 1:20 a.m., on the southbound lanes just north of State Route 94, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Emergency responders pronounced the unidentified pedestrian dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed and cooperated with the authorities.
City Heights officials later closed down the five right lanes on southbound 805 near SR-94 for a brief time.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash on Interstate 805.
