Pedestrian-Vehicle Accident near 83rd Avenue Left One Fatality

PHOENIX, AZ (November 21, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 claimed the life of one person.

The crash happened on November 17th, at around 2:00 a.m., near the 83rd Avenue on-ramp.

According to reports, a pedestrian was walking in the area when multiple vehicles including a semi-truck struck them, leaving them with fatal injuries.

Following the collision, medics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene, due to the extent of his injuries.

At this time, investigators have not stated why the pedestrian was on the on-ramp. Although, an active investigation is currently underway and officials will release more details once they become available to the public.
