Pedestrian Dead after Fatal Accident on Avalon Boulevard

WILMINGTON, CA (August 3, 2021) – A pedestrian accident on Avalon Boulevard in Wilmington killed a man on Monday morning, July 26.

The collision occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the vehicle was traveling southbound on Avalon Boulevard from Pacific Coast Highway when it collided with the 30- to 40-year-old man who was crossing the street.

Tragically, the man, who the corner’s office identified as homeless, died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the vehicle’s driver remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities.

At this time, police have not revealed their identities or conditions. Wilmington Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
