Pedestrian Accident near Locust Street Left One Woman Dead

ARMONA, CA (March 1, 2022) – On Monday, an unidentified woman lost her life following a pedestrian accident on 14th Avenue.

The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. in the area of 14th Avenue near Locust Street.

Furthermore, according to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was crossing the street when a vehicle leaving the nearby Dollar General parking lot struck her.

The reasons leading up to the crash remain unknown.

Moreover first responders transported the woman to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities withheld the woman’s name pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, officials ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.

Armona Police are still investigating the crash and will provide updates as they become available to the public.
