Injuries and 1 Fatality Reported after Multi-Vehicle Collision on 105 Freeway near the 110 Interchange

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 6, 2022) – Thursday morning, one person died and several were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on 105 Freeway

The incident took place around 7:30 a.m., along eastbound lanes of the freeway, near the 110 Freeway interchange.

According to California Highway Patrol, the collision involved eight vehicles. Amidst the chaos, one victim became trapped between two vehicles.

Emergency crews then extricated the trapped victim and rushed them to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. However, police have not yet released their identity. Six other individuals sustained unspecified injuries.

Moreover, officers stated the crash delayed traffic for several hours due to cleaning and preliminary duties.

No further information is available at this time, however, an active investigation is underway.
