25-Year-Old Rider Dies in Traffic Collision near Waterbury Lane

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (March 13, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, a motorcyclist died following a crash on Yorktown Avenue. The incident happened on March 8th, at about 2:00 a.m., near Waterbury Lane. According to reports, officers learned that the 25-year-old rider was traveling eastbound on Yorktown when the collision happened. The impact of the collision left the motorcyclist with severe injuries. Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly afterward and rendered aid. However, due to the extent of his condition, officials pronounced the 25-year-old man dead at the scene. At this time, authorities have not released his identity to the public. Furthermore, the officers were not yet able to determine the cause of the incident and the crash is still under investigation.
