21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after on Bus Collision Orange Avenue
CHULA VISTA, CA (October 10, 2022) – Late Tuesday night, police responded to a motorcycle-bus crash on Third Avenue.
The incident happened on October 4th at around 10:25 p.m. involving a Metropolitan Transit System bus and a motorcyclist.
According to reports, a witness told the officers that the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed when they ran a red light and struck the side of the bus.
Afterward, responding officers arrived at the scene and found the 21-year-old motorcyclist dead on the highway. Meanwhile, the bus driver was evaluated and he was not determined to be driving under the influence.
