16-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Collision near Chicken Ranch Road

TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA (November 28, 2022) – Saturday, one victim was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Highway 49.

According to police, the 16-year-old rider of a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle attempted to pass a Ram pickup truck in the northbound lanes.

The pickup truck then struck the motorcyclist just south of Chicken Ranch Road. Upon impact, the motorcyclist was pushed onto a dirt shoulder before losing control and being ejected onto the road.

Responding officers arrived and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

No other information was provided and further investigation is underway.
