Driver Dead Following Accident on Interstate 5 Involving a Motorcycle

SNOHOMISH CO., WA (August 16, 2021) One person tragically died Sunday after a fatal accident on Interstate 5 involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The collision occurred on Interstate 5 near 12th Street between Marysville and Everett, on Sunday, August 8.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle collided with the motorcyclist, who then ran off the road into a ditch.

Due to the impact of the crash, he was ejected from the vehicle. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his injuries, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics rendered aid to the motorcycle rider who sustained injuries but non-life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.

Police did not release any additional information at this time. However, the accident remains under investigation.
